Gallery: Hotel-inspired guest en-suite with sleek floating basin unit
This beautifully designed guest en-suite in Solihull combines elegance with practicality, creating a space that feels both stylish and inviting. Every design choice has been carefully considered to maximise functionality while maintaining a clean and contemporary look.
Marble-effect tiles are the standout feature of this guest en-suite, bringing a timeless and cohesive feel. Large-format tiles on the walls and furniture enhance the sense of space while reflecting light to keep the room bright and open. Not only does marble create a refined aesthetic, but it also ensures durability and easy maintenance, making it the perfect choice for a busy guest en-suite.
With its sloped ceilings, this room required a thoughtful approach to design. The custom vanity unit runs along the wall, providing ample surface space without overwhelming the room. Below, a built-in tiled shelf offers additional storage blending seamlessly into the design.
The walk-in shower features a frameless glass enclosure, keeping the space feeling open and uninterrupted, whilst the rainfall showerhead offers a luxurious touch with a separate hand shower for easy cleaning. Built-in shelving provides discreet storage for toiletries, ensuring everything is within easy reach without cluttering the space.
Lighting plays an important role in enhancing the atmosphere of this guest en-suite. Fluted glass pendant lights frame the mirror, providing a soft, inviting glow whilst additional wall-mounted lights contribute to the relaxed ambiance. The large skylight allows natural light to flood the space during the day, reflecting light from the polished surfaces.
Every detail in this room has been selected to complement its modern, sophisticated style. The wall-mounted WC keeps the look clean and streamlined, while chrome fixtures add a subtle touch of elegance. A few well-placed plants and scented candles introduce warmth and personality, making the space feel truly inviting.
This guest en-suite is a great example of how good design can create a practical yet beautiful space. By combining high-quality materials, smart storage solutions and carefully chosen lighting, it achieves a balance of luxury and usability that makes it a pleasure to use for staying guests.
