Gallery: Compact cloakroom with concrete basin
Metro tiles, gold brassware and a concrete basin - all the must-have trends come together in this super cool cloakroom designed for influencer, vlogger and podcaster Lily Pebbles (@lilypebbles). The key objective Lily wanted to achieve in her cloakroom was to create a fun space, however there was a design challenge in that the room had to also house a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Our designer started by creating a shelved wall at the far end, to not only hide the toilet pipes but to create an extra surface for storage and styling. This design choice also helps draw the eye to the accessories on display and away from the stowed away washing machine and tumble dryer at the opposite end.
Lily loved the look of concrete basins and chose a smaller-sized option perfect for her compact cloakroom. To add an on-trend industrial edge, our designer incorporated a matching soap plinth and towel holder which helped solve the issue of a lack of soap space on the basin
The whole look is brought together by the blush pink metro tile which has an artisan finish, in-keeping with the industrial style of the room. The gloss tiles help to bounce light around the room, brightening a space which doesn’t have a huge amount of natural light. Completed with hexagonal floor tiles, a wall-hung WC and minimalist gold brassware, this cloakroom has style in abundance.
